The camera performs perfectly, but the exterior shows marks of wear in a few places. Some of this damage is from when the camera fell off a tripod and damaged the pentaprism. Canon USA repaired it and tested it, but did not replace the cosmetic damage to the exterior. There are some scratches on the bottom, a dent on the top, and the LCD has some scratches and discoloration (which don’t affect image viewing at all). Everything works 100% as expected. Many of my favorite photos were taken with this camera.
